| The
cost of the program is $15 USD daily paid in advance
for the minimum stay (15 days). After staying a
month the cost is reduced to $12 USD daily. The
volunteer has to work 6 hours approximately a day
and has two days off during the week for which the
program offers simple facilities by the beach. The
cost includes lodging and feeding with local products.
The volunteers will be in contact with a member
of the Reserva Integral Monte Caimito since their arrival to Ecuador or inscription
in the program.
What to bring:
· Rubber boots/Wellington boots (you can
get them in Ecuador for a relatively low cost
up to size 44/US12)
· Raincoat
· Insect repellent (Preferably made of
natural ingredients)
· Sun protection
· Flashlight and extra batteries
· Sleeping bag
· Entertainment material (books, games,
notebook, camera, binoculars)
· Malaria pills
· Swimming suit
· Towel
· Toilet kit (biodegradable soap)
· Long sleeves are recommended to avoid
insect bites
· Sandals
· Light Jacket
