Monte Caimito Integral Reserve (Reserva Integral Monte Caimito) is a new conservation
concept that merges the protection of the environment
and the sustainable use of the natural resources.
Monte Caimito protects one of the last remains of tropical
rain forest in the coastal region of the Ecuadorian Choco.
Our projects are developed with the support of donations,
volunteer work and the dedication of its founders; nevertheless,
the goal is to achieve self-sufficiency.
